The regular meeting of the Sherwood Lakes Homeowners Association was held on this tenth of August, 2023. The meeting was led by HOA President Jones, with attendance of homeowners in participation.

After call to order, the record from the previous meeting were reviewed and approved with some amendments.

  • Mr. Davis, gave a brief financial update outlining the current status of the homeowner association's funds.
  • A number of homeowners raised questions regarding ongoing developments in the neighborhood, specifically the proposed community garden construction and parking maintenance.
  • Association members addressed the homeowner's concerns, providing clarifications about the plans.

Concluding the dialogue, the meeting was adjourned. The next HOA meeting is scheduled for November, at a later date.

Suggested Amendments to Sherwood Lakes Covenants

The Board of Directors is currently examining several proposed amendments to the existing covenants for Sherwood Lakes. These proposed adjustments are designed to improve the value of life for all residents while addressing ongoing concerns and facilitating a thriving community.

  • Among the proposed amendments are standards related to yard maintenance, sound restrictions, and automobile limits.
  • The HOA encourages all residents to peruse the proposed amendments carefully and provide their comments by August 15th.
  • A public forum will be arranged on September 8th to address the proposed amendments in further elaboration.

Additional information regarding the proposed amendments can be accessed on the HOA's online platform. Residents are highly recommended to contribute in this important process.

Sherwood Lakes Garden Initiative

Our enthusiastic community members are coming together to make Sherwood Lakes a more picturesque place to live. The Beautification Project aims to enhance the visual appeal of our community by planting flowers, cleaning up public areas, and encouraging a sense of ownership.

We're actively working on various projects, including the restoration of our lakefront area. We invite you to contribute in making Sherwood Lakes a truly desirable place to call home.

HOA Board Election Information - Sherwood Lakes

Greetings residents of Sherwood Lakes! The annual election for the Homeowner’s Association (HOA) board is happening soon. This year, we encourage all homeowners to get involved click here in shaping the future of our community by casting their vote.

The election will be held on Tuesday, November 7th, with voting taking place from noon to 8:00 PM at the Neighborhood Clubhouse.

A list of those vying for positions and their platforms will be made available on the HOA website and distributed via email/sent to residents in a packet by October 15th. For any questions or concerns regarding the election process, please contact the HOA board directly. We look forward to a successful and transparent election!

Sherwood Lakes Safety Initiative for Sherwood Lakes Residents

Enhance the safety and security of our welcoming community with a dedicated Neighborhood Watch program. Via unitedly participating, residents can help deter crime, watch over one another's properties, and foster a more secure sense of community. Gatherings will be held consistently to coordinate efforts.
